Bangladesh on Friday acknowledged the possibility of the existence of (Pakistan's) Inter Services Intelligence and Al Qaeda's networks in its territory.

When pointed out that different insurgent outfits of Northeastern India were using Bangladesh and that Pakistan's ISI and the Al Qaeda were aiding them in their subversive activities, Khan said, "We are not aware about this."
He said Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar on Thursday night met Bangladesh Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia complained that Indian insurgents were using Bangladesh territory. But the prime minister insisted that her country did not have any such evidence, Khan said adding, "We want to make a society where there is no place for extremism."
