Member of Andhra Pradesh legislative assembly Chadalavada Krishnamurthy, who was seriously injured in Wednesday's blast in the temple town of Tirupati, has suffered a blood clot in his brain, according to doctors at the Apollo Hospital in Chennai.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, his I-T minister Gopalkrishna Reddy and MLA P Rajasekhar Reddy were also injured in the blast.

Krishnamurthy was admitted to the intensive care unit of the hospital on Thursday afternoon.
Dr Madanmohan Reddy, an orthopaedic surgeon attached to the hospital, said the blood clot could be removed with medicines and the legislator need not undergo any surgery.
"His condition is stable and he will be discharged after three to four days," Reddy said.
