Asian News International cameraman Vikram Bisht, who was injured in the terrorist attack on Parliament in 2001, died in New Delhi on Thursday.
Following a fall from his wheelchair on Wednesday night, he was brought to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, sources told the Press Trust of India.
The doctors said that Vikram's fall could have blocked blood circulation to a part of the brain, according to the sources.
He was first admitted to AIIMS on December 13, 2001, the day the Parliament attack took place and was discharged on November 6, 2002.
He had received bullet shots in his spine. In fact, on the first anniversary of the attack, Vikram had visited the Parliament house complex on his wheelchair.
He is survived by wife and two children.
