Toll in Baroda violence rises to four

The death toll in the communal violence in Baroda during the Ganesh immersion procession on Friday has increased to four with one more person succumbing to stab injuries in hospital, police said on Saturday.

Twenty-six people were injured at the sensitive Fatehpura locality during the procession.

Police had fired as many as 47 rounds and burst 147 teargas shells to disperse the mobs.
