Main accused in Godhra carnage arrested

Nanhen Mian alias Nikku Chaudhary, the main accused in the attack on the Sabarmati Express in Godhra on February 27, was arrested in Rampur, Uttar Pradesh, on Wednesday night, police said on Thursday.

He was nabbed from the house of his in-laws.

He was taken to Gujarat after a local court issued a transit remand, the police said.

Mian, a dismissed Central Reserve Police Force constable, has revealed the names of fourteen others involved in the carnage, the police said, adding that they also traded in arms and narcotics.
