The toll in the Friday blast in a cracker unit at Bajpur village in the district of Puri in Orissa has risen to three, District Superintendent of Police S Priyadarshi said on Saturday.
The unit had caught fire after some crackers accidentally went off.
Bajua Kandi, a worker, died on the spot and two others died in a hospital in Bhubaneshwar later.
The owner of the unit, Kailash Subuddi, is absconding and a case has been registered against him at Kakatpur police station.
