Pakistan on Tuesday rejected India's demand for handing over Sheikh Omar, prime suspect in the Daniel Pearl murder case, or any of the 20 fugitives sought by it.
"We have enough evidence against Sheikh Omar," Pakistan's Interior Minister Moinuddin Haider told Star News making it clear that he would be tried in Pakistan.
On the list of 20 fugitives given by India on December 31, he said, ''Let us have a comprehensive dialogue. This issue can also be discussed. They are not seen, not visible. If at all, they are in Pakistan, which we don't know, they may be underground."
He emphasised that Pakistan did not have any extradition treaty with India, adding he wanted evidence against the 20 men wanted by India.
About Sheikh, Haider said that India sought his extradition in a 1994 murder case in Srinagar.
