Viramgam peaceful, curfew lifted

Indefinite curfew imposed in Viramgam town of Ahmedabad rural district following group clashes on Friday last was lifted on Monday, police said.

The town has been peaceful for the last two days, sources said.

Two persons were killed and eight injured in police firing after the clashes prompting the authorities to impose curfew on Friday.
