A Pakistan foreign ministry spokesman in Islamabad had on Tuesday said that Musharraf would visit Washington early in February but did not specify the dates.
This would be Musharraf's first official visit to the US to discuss bilateral issues though he had visited New York twice during the last two years to address the United Nations general assembly.
