Following Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf's decision to ban Lashkar-e-Tayiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed, the Pakistan-based LeT on Saturday night vowed to continue its 'holy war' in Kashmir.
"The government of Pakistan has no right to ban us as we are a Kashmir-based group fighting against the Indian forces and we will continue our jihad (holy war)," Lashkar spokesman Abdullah Sayyaf was quoted as saying in an agency report.
Lashkar has been banned without any evidence of its involvement in terrorism, he said.
"We have never been involved in act of terrorism and have always condemned the killing of civilians," he said
He also denied the organisation carried out the December 13 attack on the Indian Parliament.
