The actual construction of the Ram temple will start on a suitable date after March 15 on the advice of astrologers, president of the Ram Janambhoomi Nyas, Mahant Ram Chandra Paramhans, said at a joint press conference with VHP president Ashok Singhal in Ayodhya.
"We have given sufficient time to Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee to remove the obstacles for construction of the Ram temple and we shall wait up to March 12," Paramhans said.
Since the 'shilanyas' for the temple, which was performed in 1989, there has been no progress in the temple construction work, he complained.
