One more arrested in Nagappa abduction case

The Special Task Force on Thursday arrested one more person on the charge of providing protection to forest brigand Veerappan in connection with the abduction of former Karnataka minister H Nagappa.

Police sources gave the name of the arrested person as Madath.

The STF had on Wednesday arrested one person who they suspected had tipped off the Veerappan gang about the whereabouts of Nagappa, who was abducted from his farmhouse at Kamageri in Chamarajnagar district on Sunday night.
