Your Views:The problems faced by our country can be solved only by the active involvement of the majority of the total population. There is a need for revolutionary reformation in every aspect of human life, including religion.Lack of good leadership with farsighted perception is the main cause. Unless people start thinking in terms of 'we' and try to understand others difficulties and follow the true philosophy of oneness of Indian way of life prescribed in the Vedas, Gita, Koran Bible and Budhist and other religious scriptures. The attitude of the present Social & religious leaders who think in terms of the superiority of their faith and propogate hatred for other faiths. Love, Compassion, respect for other faiths and the realisation that My happiness depends on the happiness of others and my freedom ends where the freedom of others begin..only such values can help to bring about the Second Vision of our President. The entire human race is one unit of the Nature's creation and no one is separate from the other. we are all the microcosm of the macrocosm within the cosmos. The politicians of this country are to be replaced by true representatives of the people with true service their motto .

Your Views:I believe as the leaders of Abdul Kalam and PM Atalji is there second vision of president can be accomplished. These people just need the support of other subordinate politicians. I believe the central government should first start clean itself and lead by example. The lot of scams which we are now seeing, has been happening and worse has happened in the old governments. Every individual has a prime responsibility to society, Unlike our ex-finance minister who had filed wrong tax return in yesteryears which was brought out by Indian express paper. We dont want this kind of leaders who lead by wrong examples.Even congress is no good. Now since media has become more strong, the first dose is recieved by NDA government, in the future every government with have these doses which will I hope will call for transparency and hence cleaner government. Once this happens, automatically all Government Offices will be held responsible for wrong doing and hence these things will automatically clean the society. I hope if these ever happens, It will fulfill our president's second vision and Normal citizen will start giving more to society as governance will be cleaner and transparent.

Your Views:Yes it will remain just a dream. To start with, the present BJP government is only interested in destroying the country by dividing people based on religion and being involved in violence, riots and destruction of property using the RSS, VHP, Bajrang Dal etc. Take Gujarat for example, the whole world knows that the BJP and its terrorist wings (RSS, VHP etc) were involved in all the violence, riots and deaths. And the Indian population still support such a government. God help us, since we Indians cannot do so.

Your Views:The 2nd vision of our hon'ble president will remain as it is, provided the present political and social structure does not change. general populace will always be confined to selfishness. Adding to the woes are a hosts of factors which will always hinder the growth of our nation. the rampant corruption, atrocities on women, non-freedom of our fundamental rights(ironical isn't it?) etc. are few examples which will always remain in our society provided the general populace does not change their mentality and come forth to join hands for a better tomorrow. A weak government at the centre does not help the cause of better future. Take the Shivani murder case, few people will disagree to the idea of politician involvement with the case. Why life has become such a cheap commodity? Why rapes are committed? Why brides are burned alive? Why there is eveteasing? Why you have to adopt unfair means to get the job done from government servants? Why there is no faith in our judiciary system? Why terrorists are born? if everyone knows the answers to the above then we should do something to realise our president's noble vision.

Your Views:Our President's dream of a 'second vision' is really a fabulous thinking and really shows his intrest and determination in developing our country. But, I personally feel how far he can achive sucess in his dream? India is a developing country and the main hinderance to it's development is over popullation. And this is a route cause for many other major problems. So, I feel if he really is dreaming India to be a developed nation, he should find a solution for this problem. And till he finds a solution for this problem its a wild goose chase working towards the development of our country

Your Views:No. The vision will come true.Sadly, there is too much importance given to the politics and the politicians, specially by the media, who have mastered the art of scandalising anything and everything for their own commercial purposes. The interest of the nation is the last thing on the media mind. There is so much good work going on all round the country, but they do not have the eye for them. By and large the people of India are good and hardworking and the vision of the President as stated in his book 'India Vision 2020' will come true. The people, specially the young ones, are looking through the games of the fortune hunters and soon their games will be up. Hopes should not be abondoned just because a few of the Macaulay class are up against our people, knowingly or unknowingly. The people will assert soon. We are seeing a sea of change all around us. Those who have dark glasses will soon realise that the Sun still shines. Ours is a very very rich heritage and some mischiefmongers can not make much of a difference. Let the people who form part of the 85% population and living in the villages get literate and rise. Let us help them. All the good luck to our new visionary President.

Your Views:As in physics all matter moves with a fixed speed and momentum unless there is outside intervention. I dont see any meaningful intervention from our politicians. Why do I talk about politicians - only because the entire news is always about politicians saying ( I wish they did something constructive instead of talking and fleecing the nation) this or that - almost as if no one else in India does anything. Further as long as the so called growth of Muslim population in India is considered higher than the Hindu growth there will be no meaningful population control and population control is the key to India's development. Population control in China is one of the major factors that propelled its growth. Therefore I feel there will be little change from todays growth pattern unless politicians provide meaningful intervention starting first with population control. I must add however that the current initiative to add a good national highway network is a definite positive intervention - the only one I can think of.

Your Views:We `Indians`can achive dr.kalam's dream if it become the dream of each of us. First, we have to work without selfishness, we have to avoid bribing, corrupting our society. We can do some simple social activities, like not pollutting the environment, not spitting on roads/public places, not urinating in public places at any time. [I my self follow all the above]. We could teach our children to understand good things and to avoid the bad ones.It is possible if we are correct and good. Some major constitutional changes also has to be made.Governers of states should be given some responsibilities, and they must not oblige chief minister or any other politician.,except president. Police department to be brought under governer of the state.
All allowances for the MPs, including salary to be cut when ever they colapse the functioning the house. Punishments for crime, corruption etc...to be made severe.
All communal and communist parties, all parties having anti-national [including differentiating state from the nation] must be banned. Media, Magazines, and social welfare organisations to be watched for avoiding anti national activities.

Your Views:His second dream will never become true.I think even his first vision is still not achieved and will never be achieved.Reasons: 1) Non implementation of population control due to vote bank problem 2) Greedy and corrupt politicians 3) Lack of proper and uniform education system. 4) No social security
5) Quota system : which often forces you to select people of lower caibre . This is true in every field of life in India. Morover , over the years we had good and nice Presicents , who deliver valuable lectures but never could implement may be due to due lack of power /limitations of our constitution / lack of will or whatever reasons it may be.
I don't think our present President will be an exception.

Your Views:Yes I agree with the view I, Me, Myself. The traditions has it's roots in "Dynastic Rule". After the independence, the merit or the ability of an individual has never ever taekn in to account but their loyalty to "Person" or dynasty was of prime importance. If British were against Sawarkar, I can understand it their point of view but Indian Government keeping him out of politics is a crime that will never be punished. What secularism has to do with Muslim League, and Christian missionary zeal. When Nation became Independent, the view of national thinkers for a direction to nation was taken over by politicians who had no national direction that is Why I, Me & Myself. The bureaucrats who had loyalty to Party or person were not punished for their antinational activities and crimes. I read a letter written by Mohhmad Ali Jinnah to one of our Muslim President of India saying that "you stay in India and give us the information about the activities in India against Pakistan". Can any one believe it? Even now the political leaders and religious heads when openly support Pakistan they are not questioned about their anti national activity. This never happens in Britain and US. Why ?

Your Views:President Kalam's vision can only be achieved if the people of our country supports him as a single leader of our country. A leaders vision or dream cannot be fulfilled unless he has followers to act upon it. If every individual or citizen of a nation is developed or fulfilled with their basic needs then of course the nation will also develop. The future of every nation depends upon the people of that nation and it is duty of every individual to make a good future of himself so alternatively the nation can also have a good future. The government should play a very important or vital role in encouraging and enhancing the ability or potential of the people as a whole. The leader should understand his followers. There should be any inequality in any field but also should not discourage the poorer section. Money should not be everything. Every individual should possess lots of money. To end up as per my foresight Dr.Abdul Kalam is a very experienced person in terms of poverty and high ranking.

Your Views:We see a new hope in our President. Here is a man who does not want to go on the oft trodden way, but has taken a new approach with which to instill in us the fervour of Indiasm. We are hearing anew tune and new lyrics which we used to hear from men who gave their lives to wrest the country from colonialism. Those brave hearts by asking us to see a new vision inspired us to fight for freedom. Now we have a new President who makes us feel great and shows us a new path to reach the goal he has in mind. When we hear him we feel convinced his dediction for the cause. As Mahathma gandi said" I am a dreamer. I am, indeed, a practical dreamer. My dreams are not airy nothings. I want to convert my dreams into reality as far as possible." I feel the present generation finds a new fragrance in the air and they will be inspired to realise the new second vision envisaged by our President.

Your Views:Each country, like its citizens goes through different phases of development to reach its maturity where the citizens enjoy living in the country with peace and prosperity. After fifty five years of its existence as a democracy, the model of sacrifices of freedom fighters may not motivate the new generations as effectively as we expect. There is no doubt about the quality and commitment of the new generation in this country but asking them to forego some of the benefits they can earn with their talent and hard work in the name of inspiration from freedom struggle may not provide right motivation. It is an undisputed fact that the great generation of freedom fighters could unite the country into one to convey the strong urge for independence from european rule. The strongest weapon they have is the crisis in front of the country's future which served as greatest motivator for the citizens to unite into one. The leadership in this country should realize the current phase of the country's development and offer right kind of motivation to the masses which can give them the reason to leave their selfishness. It only becomes idealistic to advise anyone to forego some material things.
