34 bodies identified

Thirty-four passengers, of the 57 who lost their lives in one of the worst train tragedies in recent times in Kerala, have been identified so far, sources at the Calicut Medical College Hospital said.

The process of identifying the bodies was still on with relatives of the dead camping at various hospitals since last night.

Eight bogies of the Mangalore-Madras mail had derailed at Kadalundi, about 10 km from Calicut, at around 5 pm on Friday.
