Summit dialogues sinking in Yamuna: Panthers party

Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party chief Bhim Singh on Monday accused Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf of adopting a 'commanding' attitude during the summit talks and claimed it had resulted in the failure of the dialogues.

"The much glorified dialogue between President Musharraf and Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee is sinking in the Yamuna river due to the arrogance of the president who continued his habit of commanding the Indian prime minister," Singh said.

He held the Indian government responsible for legitimising the reign of Musharraf, who threw out a democratically elected government, by according him a 'hero's' welcome.

Singh had started a dharna a kilometre away from the summit venue protesting the talks over Kashmir.
