Musharraf, who will be accompanied by his wife Begum Sehba, Foreign Minister Abdul Sattar and other federal ministers and top officials, will drive straight to Rashtrapati Bhavan for a ceremonial reception, official sources said.

He will then proceed to Rajghat to lay a wreath at the samadhi of Mahatma Gandhi. The Pakistan President will return to Rashtrapati Bhavan where Union Ministers Lal Kishenchand Advani and Jaswant Singh will call on him.

Congress President Sonia Gandhi will also have a meeting with Musharraf in Rashtrapati Bhavan. The Prime Minister will host a lunch for Musharraf at Taj Palace to be attended by Union ministers, members of parliament, diplomats, editors and several eminent personalities.

Later in the afternoon, Musharraf will visit his ancestral home in Daryaganj and also visit the dargah of 13th century Sufi Saint Hazrat Nizamuddin.

The Pakistan President will also attend a high tea hosted by Pakistan High Commissioner Ashraf Jehangir Qazi. He will have 'private time' for a while before attending a banquet hosted in his honour by President K R Narayanan, the sources added.

On the morning of July 15, Musharraf will leave for Agra where he will stay at the majestic Amar Vilas hotel of Oberoi group. The Vajpayee-Musharraf summit meeting will be held at the Jay Pee Palace Hotel with a working lunch and delegation-level parleys.
