Two MPs from Madhya Pradesh arrested

Ram Naresh Tripathy and Jaishree Banerjee, Lok Sabha members from Seoni and Jabalpur respectively in Madhya Pradesh, were on Monday arrested in Jabalpur, Deputy Speaker P M Sayeed informed the House on Monday.

Sayeed told the members before adjourning the House for the day that he received communication from Superintendent of Police and District Magistrate of Jabalpur about the arrest of Tripathy and Banerjee around 0930 hours (IST) on Monday.
