Intruder entered Vajpayee's guest houseAn intruder entered Blair House, where Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee stayed last week, the US secret service said in Washington. Secret Service spokesman Mark Connolly said Dipal Pandya was arrested on Saturday evening for unlawful entry into Blair House. He clarified that Vajpayee was not at the house at the time, but added the incident was under investigation Vajpayee was under Secret Service protection during his visit, Connolly said. Blair House is across the White House on Pennsylvania Avenue, which is closed to vehicular traffic and watched over by guards at both ends of the block. Pandya, 27, of New Jersey, was charged with a misdemeanour count of unlawful entry and released on his recognisance. A trial has been set for October 31, Channing Phillips, a spokesman for the US attorney for Columbia, stated.
