Nothing abnormal about PM's health, says doctor: PTIA top orthopaedic specialist, treating Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee for his knee problems, Thursday said there was ''nothing abnormal'' about Vajpayee's health and that he should be able to undertake his forthcoming tour of the United States. Vajpayee ''is suffering from osteo-arthritis. There is nothing abnormal about the prime minister's health'' Dr P K Dave, director of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi told PTI. Asked whether Vajpayee would be able to undertake his 13-day visit to the US beginning September 7, Dave said ''I think so. He will be able to. But it is a subjective thing''. To a question on the treatment being given to the Prime Minister, he said ''We have taught him some physiotherapic exercises and he is also on some medicines''. Vajpayee had cut short his visit to Nagpur and returned to Delhi last Sunday without attending the full session of the Bharatiya Janata Party national council there. He had been examined by Dave on his return.
