Launch of Pawar's party postponedThe launch of the new party of expelled Congress politicians Sharad Pawar, P A Sangma and Tariq Anwar has been postponed. The party was to have been launched today. But the crisis in Kargil has apparently forced a change of plan. The trio continued to hold a series of meetings in the capital as part of their efforts to float a new national party. Sources close to the politicians said they are in the final stages of drafting the party's constitution. Discussions are also on about the symbol on which the party will contest the forthcoming election. UNI |
