PoK attacked thrice: officialIslamabad said that Indian aircraft 'bombed' Pakistan-occupied Kashmir thrice today. ''We think it is a very grave escalation and Pakistan armed forces reserve the right to respond,'' said Brigadier Rashid Quereshi, a military spokesman. ''We are prepared for all eventualities... We are prepared for all sorts of escalation,'' he told the Associated Press. He said Indian jet fighters bombed Pakistani territory twice in the morning and a third time in the afternoon. ''This is a pattern . . . I don't think this is a mistake any more. So it will be considered as serious as that,'' said Quereshi. ''In all likelihood they want to secure and capture areas on our side of the Line of Control from where they think we dominate that area. . . That seems to be their aim,'' he said. UNI
