Wet weather spreads to HimachalRain or snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Rain or thundershowers are likely at isolated places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura, sub- Himlayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Haryana, Punjab, south Tamil Nadu and south Kerala. Mainly dry weather will prevail over the rest of the country. Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in parts of north central Maharashtra and of Telangana. They were markedly above normal in parts of Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and of Gujarat region, and were appreciably above normal in parts of sub-Himalyayan West Bengal, Sikkim and of east Rajasthan. They were above normal in parts of Bihar plains, west Uttar Pradesh, Saurashtra and Kutch, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and of coastal and south interior Karnataka. They were normal over the rest of the country outside Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya from where the data were sparse. Severe heat wave conditions prevailed in parts of Rajasthan and Saurashtra and Kutch. Heat wave conditions also prevailed in parts of Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Gujarat and parts of Saurashtra and Kutch. Day temperatures were markedly above normal in parts of Assam and Meghalaya, and were appreciably above normal in Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and in parts of Orissa, Bihar plateau, hills of west Uttar Pradesh, central Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, and of Tamil Nadu. They were above normal in parts of Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, west Uttar Pradesh, Marathwada and coastal and south interior Karnataka. They were normal over the rest of the country outside Arunachal Pradesh and Gangetic West Bengal from where the data were sparse. Rain or thundershowers occurred at isolated places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Very light rain also occurred at isolated places in Kerala. Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country.
