ASSEMBLY POLL '98
|
BJP coordination panel to meet on SaturdayThe coordination committee of the Bharatiya Janata Party-led coalition government will meet in New Delhi on March 27. The meeting has been called amidst speculation that the Congress might attempt to destabilise the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government during the ensuing Parliament session. Coinciding with the four-day visit of All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazagham chief J Jayalalitha to New Delhi, the meeting will discuss the threat perception of the government. It may also explore the possibility of a long-delayed Cabinet expansion. The meeting will be held at 1500 hours at the PM's residence. UNI
