Aziz discusses Kargil with Vajpayee
Pakistan Foreign Minister Sartaj Aziz today called on Prime Minister A B Vajpayee and held talks for about half an hour on the situation arising from the Pakistan-supported intrusion in the Kargil sector. Aziz's talks with Vajpayee at South Block were preceded by discussions the visiting foreign minister had with External Affairs Minister Jaswant Singh. Aziz declined to talk to the press before as well as after his talks with the prime minister. Pakistan foreign ministry spokesman Tariq Altaf said there would be a briefing later in the day at his country's high commission. UNI
