Spurious liquor kills 24 in Bihar

At least 24 persons died after consuming spurious liquor in Ratnar and Koya villages of Bihar's Bhojpur district over the last four days.

Chief Secretary Vijay Shankar Dubey told reporters in Patna today that four persons had been arrested in this connection and departmental action had been initiated against excise officials.

Dubey said eight persons died on February 10, five on February 11, three yesterday and eight today.
