Delay in acceptance of resignation letters sparks speculation
Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee is yet to forward the resignation letters of the two All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazagham ministers to President K R Narayanan for acceptance. Vajpayee has not decided when their resignation letters should be forwarded to Narayanan, sources said amid speculation that the acceptance would be delayed by two or three days to work out a last minute deal with the AIADMK. The two AIADMK representatives, M Thambi Durai and K M R Janarthanam, had tendered their resignation from the Union council of ministers last night. UNI
