NC will not vote during trust motion
Jammu and Kashmir National Conference has decided to abstain from voting during the confidence motion moved by the Bharatiya Janata Party-led
government.
Senior NC leader Ghulam Mohi-Ud-Din Shah, who replaces
Professor Saif-Ud-Din Soz -- the party MP from north
Kashmir -- as spokesman, said the decision was taken at
the party's working committee meeting.
In reply to a question, Shah said the NC was still a constituent of the United Front as it has not been expelled to date.
To another question, he said, "We will maintain equal distance
from the BJP and the Congress.''
