BJD, BJP agree on seat sharingThe Biju Janata Dal and the Bharatiya Janata Party have finalised seat adjustments for '50 per cent' of the 21 Lok Sabha seats in Orissa, BJD political affairs committee chairman Bijoy Mahapatra said. Leaders of the two parties had a discussion till the early hours on Tuesday. The BJD also talked to BJP president Lal Kishinchand Advani. The talks will resume on January 19. The BJP leaders, who took part in the discussion, were Pramod Mahajan and Opposition leader in the Orissa assembly Ram Krushna Patnaik. UNI |
