Mulayam unveils prime ministerial ambitionSamajwadi Party president and Union Defence Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav says he would be in the prime ministerial race if his party secures 70 seats in the coming Lok Sabha election. Addressing a public meeting in Uttar Pradesh, he said there was no political crisis in the country. ''If there was any crisis, it was for corrupt politicians,'' he added. Describing the Bharatiya Janata Party as communal, he alleged that a handful of capitalists who enjoyed the facilities and leisure of life during British rule were today the BJP's main financiers.
