Priyanka to accompany Sonia during campaign

Priyanka Vadra, the late Rajiv Gandhi's daughter, will accompany her mother during Sonia's election campaign for the Congress, beginning on Sunday at Sriperambudur in Tamil Nadu.

This was disclosed by Karnataka Congress unit chief Dharam Singh today. He, however, did not say whether Priyanka would also campaign for the party.

Singh said Sonia and Priyanka would arrive in Karnataka on January 15 and address a public meeting in the evening.

Sonia is likely to speak in Hindi and address the gathering for about 15 minutes.
