t was the end of Sonia Gandhi's rally that actually
provided its highlight. As the star Congress campaigner flew
off in a swirl of dust, her admirers on the ground fought a desperate
war for the few Sonia cut-outs that were scattered across
the large ground.
Once they were cornered, the attack spread -- to anything and
everything that could be grabbed as a memento. To buntings from
the stage, to posters stuck on the walls, to the Congress flags,
someone even wanted to take the mike home.
Rediff On The NeT's Savera S Someshwar and photographer Jewella C Miranda brings you glimpses of that rally in Nandurbar, the first to cross the 300,000 mark for the Congress this election.
