He plays Captain William Gordon, a good friend of Mangal Pandey. He wants to avoid bloodshed.

He is the voice of reason in the film. Mangal is always questioning and is reactive. He knows if he does not control Mangal, there will be bloodshed.

He is a wonderful actor. Acting is in his blood. I am really looking forward to working with him. He is also a fine person.
