Market@May 31: Day's reportThe software stocks showed an impressive recovery during the second half of the day. Global was the strongest and gained 5 per cent. Stocks like Digital, DSQ Software, Pentamedia and Zee showed smart recovery. Infosys, Satyam and Wipro however remained under pressure. The performance of old economy stocks was more or less mixed. Bhel, ABB, Bajaj Auto, Colgate and ITC attracted buying interest. Other stocks showed a weak trend. The trading volume was relatively low on the BSE. Sensex down 30 points at 3632.
