Market@September 14: Day's reportSoftware stocks showed a mixed trend on Thursday, while stocks like Satyam Comp, Global Tele and Sterlite did well others like Infosys, Pentamedia, SSI and Wipro remained under pressure. Sterlite gained more than 4 per cent. Infosys meanwhile attracted a volume of 12.61 lakh shares -- very close to its all-time high volume of 12.64 lakh shares. In the non-software segment, Reliance Petro and IPCL did well and gained smartly. Others like Reliance, ITC, HLL, SBI, L&T and ACC showed a negative close.
