Tata Metaliks Ltd. has informed BSE that the company's plant at Gokulpur, Kharagpur will be shut down for a period of 33 days tentatively from September 26, 2000 for the following purposes 1. Enhancement of Blast Furnace Capacity from the existing 90, 000 tonnes per annum to Rs 1,30,000 tonnes per annum 2. Enhancement of power house capacity from the existing 2.20 MW to 2.75 MW 3. Relining of Blast Furnace

Siltap Chemicals FY 2000 net profit at Rs 80.37 million, Bonus Issue in ratio of 1:2

Siltap Chemicals has posted a net profit of Rs 80.37 million for the year ended July 31, 2000 as compared to Rs 70.49 million for the same period last year. Net sales for the year ended July 31, 2000 are at Rs 652.89 million as compared to Rs 538.58 million in FY 99. Other income has increased from Rs 2.39 million to Rs 4.18 million in FY 2000. The Directors have recommended on 4060767 Equity Shares of Rs 10/- each, payment of dividend @ 100%, out of which 70% has already been paid by way of two interim dividends of 35% each and the balance 30% i.e. Rs 3/- per share is now being recommended as final dividend. The Directors have recommend, issue of Bonus Shares in the ratio of one Equity Share for every two Equity Shares held subject to approvals as may necessary.

GDR Software Ltd. has posted a net profit of Rs 15.11 million for the year ended June 30,2000 as compared to Rs 1.15 million in the previous year ended June 30, 99. Net sales for the year ended June 30, 2000 are at Rs 60.39 million as compared to Rs 9.44 million in the previous year ended June 30, 99. Other income has increased from Rs 0.34 million in FY 99 to Rs 1.27 million in FY 2000. The company has bagged an order worth $2.67 million for data conversion backlog from Spatial Info for an Australian Power Utility Company.
