Market@October 17: Day's reportThe day started on a weak note for the software stocks and they remained under pressure for a major part of the day. A recovery was witnessed only during the last one hour of the day but failed to give a major push to prices. DSQ Software was major loser with a fall of 14 per cent. Satyam, Zee Tele and Wipro also dipped sharply. NIIT was the only stock which managed to remain strong, and gained more than 6 per cent. The non-software stocks meanwhile remained under pressure. ITC, Reliance, Ranbaxy and MTNL showed a negative close. Sensex down 63 points at 3665, Nifty down 20 points at 1156. Sensex
