Market@October 11: Day's reportIt was the software stocks turn on Wednesday, nearly all the software stocks came under strong selling pressure pushing the market to a 17 month. After a weak open, values dipped further. With a fall of more than 11 per cent each Satyam and Himachal were the major losers. Infosys, SSI, DSQ Soft, NIIT, Wipro and Pentamedia also dipped sharply. All these stocks lost more than 5 per cent each. In the non-software segment, heavyweights like ITC, Reliance and HLL remained in a narrow range.
