Market@15 March: Day's report
Pivotals remain in demand, software shows smart recovery from lower levels. Pharma remains firm.
Thanks to all-around buying at lower levels, the Sensex managed to record a smart rally. While pivotals opened strong in the morning and continued to maintain the trend, the software sector opened at extremely low levels. However, it showed a sharp recovery in the later half where a large number of stocks hit the upper circuit.
Satyam Computers, Global Tele, HFCL, Zee Tele, and DSQ Software topped the volume chart accounting for more than 50 per cent of the total traded volume on the BSE.
