Market@July 10: Day's report

Overall mood remained bearish with Zee Tele hitting the lower circuit in the morning session. Other Technology stocks too remained under selling pressure with most of them ending the day with a loss of more than 3 per cent. Prominent losers in the technology stocks are Global Tele, Himachal, Zee Tele and SSI.

Pivotals held on in the first half, but in the secong half they too succumbed to heavy selling pressure ending the day in negative territory. Prominent losers were MTNL, L&T, SBI and Tata Tea. The trading volumes too were depressed.

Sensex down 37 points at 4868. Nifty down 10 points at 1510 points.
