Market@July 7: Day's reportBacked by a strong close on the Nasdaq the market opened on a firm note. Barring a few counters like BHEL, Tisco, Ranbaxy and some other pivotals the mood remained dull. Software stocks were firm, but without any major activity. Among the side counters Essel Packaging ended the day with a 16 percent gain. Other stocks to gain over 14 percent was Zenith info. Visual Soft was a heavy loser today with a loss of over 10 per cent Sensex up 20 points at 4905, Nifty up 3 points at 1520. Sensex
