Market@August 17: Day's reportSoftware stocks remained under pressure on Thursday. Almost all the stocks from this sector showed a negative close. DSQ Soft was the worst hit and was down more than 7 per cent. Other stocks like Silverline, Wipro and Pentamedia also reported sharp dip. Cement stocks showed sharp a dip. L&T and Grasim dipped more than 8 per cent. ACC and India Cements also lost heavily. While MTNL gained smartly SBI, HLL and SBI showed a negative close. Hotel stocks remained in demand.
