FICCI to act as bridge between African envoys and Indian businessmenThe Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry is providing a platform to the ambassadors/high commissioners of all the African countries to interact with Indian businessmen for forging specific business interests. The objective is to showcase the vast scope for alliances of small, medium and micro enterprises of India with African enterprises which can lead to large trade and investment. The FICCI seminar titled ''Opportunities for Indian SMEs in Africa'' will also provide an insight to the Indian businessmen into the African market. There will also be country-specific presentations by ambassadors/high commissioners. The Indian side will focus on the sectors of information technology, agricultural food-processing, etc. The high commissioners/ambassadors from Africa who would be attending are FRP, Ghana, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Mauritius, Namibia, Egypt, Zambia, Rwanda, Zimbabwe, Somali Democratic Republic, Tunisia, Uganda and Burkino Faso.
