Sensex spurts 75 points to 3725 in morning sessionThe Bombay Stock Exchange witnessed brisk trading in the morning session. At 1400 hours, the 30-share Sensitive Index (Sensex) was hovering at the 3725 level, up 75 points from the previous close of 3648.86. Pivotals were reported to be moving in a narrow range. Telco, Mahindra&Mahindra, HDFC Bank, Reliance Petroleum, Finolex Cables, Hindalco hit the upper limit of their respective circuit-breaker. Commodity stocks were in demand. Pharma and FMCG equities were steady. Foreign institutional investors were active at automobile counters. The bank counters, led by SBI, were also reported to be active. UNI
