Pepsi to samba with Govinda, Coke ropes in RambhaFilmi fizz. Soft drinks regulars in India will feel that shortly. In their bid to reach the top in cola sales charts, Pepsi India has signed on Govinda and Coca-Cola India has roped in Rambha for endorsements. Govinda will join hands with Amitabh Bachchan and try to relive the screen magic of Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan while providing 'zor ka jhatkaas' for Mirinda Lime. Rambha would feature in Coke's marketing initiatives. It is not the first time that the Atlanta-based beverage giants have signed on celebrities from the fields of cinema, music and sports. Coke has arisma Kapoor, Daler Mehndi, Saurav Ganguly, Javagal Srinath, Anil Kumble and Robin Singh. Mirinda Lemon, a brand from PepsiCo, was launched in April 1998 and is nationally available in 300 ml bottles, 330 ml cans and 1.5 litre pet bottles. Mirinda is also available in orange flavour, which is the flagship flavour brand. UNI |
