Sensex dips 28 points, 3280, and Nifty six in volatile morning sessionShares on the major stock exchanges seem to be competing against the sometimes soaring, sometimes dipping kites that mark the Sankranti or Pongal festival which is being celebrated today. In a very volatile morning trading session, equities soared as the foreign institutional investors renewed buying support. But thereafter operators unleashed selling pressure neutralising the early morning gains. Infotech shares remained steady, and seemed set for an upswing. The Sensex soared 60 points to 3301 before beating a retreat. As at 1230 hrs IST, it was at 3280, down 28 points. At the NSE, the Nifty is down six points at 954. Share price of infotech major Infosys Technologies, which announced spectacular third quarter results yesterday, hit the upper limit on the circuit breaker at an all-time high of Rs 4,068. When last heard, its price was Rs 3975. Reliance was at Rs 135, Telco at Rs 200-210 and NIIT at Rs 2100-2110. UNI
