Central Bank of India revises term deposit rates

Central Bank of India has revised its domestic term deposits rates with effect from January 18.

The interest rates on domestic term deposits are five per cent for 15 days to 29 days, six per cent for 30 days to 60 days, seven per cent for 61 days to 90 days, eight per cent for 91 days to 179 days, nine per cent for 180 days to one year, 10 per cent for over one year to two years, 10.5 per cent for over two years to three years and 11.5 per cent over three years.

There is no change in additional interest rates on single large deposits of Rs 1.5 million and over. The revised domestic term deposit rates will apply only to fresh and renewals of maturing deposits.
