Indica booking till Jan 23; sale on new priority basis

In view of the encouraging response to the Tata Indica since its launch, the bookings will remain open from January 17 to 23, Telco said in a media statement.

Earlier plans called for the closure of bookings as soon as 10,000 bookings were received at the dealerships. However, in response to market sentiments, the 10,000 priority numbers will now be generated from the total booking which would be received between January 17 and January 23.

Payments for the balance bookings, if any, would be refunded to the customers.

The car is now at display at most dealerships across India.
