Electoral History This is the constituency map of Chhattisgarh, formerly a part of the huge state of Madhya Pradesh and now the youngest state in the Indian Union. At the time of the last assembly election in 1998, Chhattisgarh was still a part of Madhya Pradesh. This, therefore, is the first election ever for the state's assembly.
