An approximate two to five per cent of the 3.36 crore electorate cast its vote on Monday within first two hours of second phase of polling opening in 24 Lok Sabha constituencies in Maharashtra.

Prominent among the early voters were the speaker of the dissolved Lok Sabha, Manohar Joshi; Congress' nominee in Mumbai North-West, Sunil Dutt; and the party's candidate in Mumbai South, Milind Deora.

Before casting his vote at Vanitha Samaj, Shivaji Park, Joshi offered prayers at the Siddhivinayak Temple. Sunil Dutt
exercised his franchise at Bandra.
