Dilip Singh Judeo, who resigned from the Union Cabinet after being allegedly taped accepting bribe, will be the Bharatiya Janata Party's star campaigner in Chhattisgarh, where elections will be held on December 1, Deputy Prime Minister Lal Kishenchand Advani said on Tuesday.
"The episode will not have an adverse impact in Chhattisgarh or any other state going to polls. Judeo will be principle campaigner for the party," Advani said at in Raipur.
Asked whether Judeo could still be the party's chief ministerial candidate, Advani said, "Let us wait for the CBI probe into the matter."
